Short version: Simple Fielding doesn't collect anything about you.

Like any website, the server keeps standard access logs: the address a request came from, the page asked for, and the time. They're used only to keep the site running, and they aren't shared or sold. The "Buy me a coffee" link goes to buymeacoffee.com, which has its own privacy policy.

Plays you save are stored in your browser on your device, the same way. A share link carries the play inside the link itself, after the #. Browsers don't send that part to any server, so a shared play isn't stored or logged on ours. Whoever you send the link to can see what's in it: the situation, where the ball went, and the name you gave the play. A backup file you export is saved wherever you put it.

Your team's names (if you add a roster) are stored in your browser on your device. They're never sent to us or anyone else.

Testers only: the website has a hidden tester mode, off unless someone deliberately turns it on and pastes in a web address. When it's on and the tester reports a play that looks wrong, the report goes to that address: what they typed, the play and its situation, and their browser and screen size. Nobody else's copy ever sends one, and the apps don't have tester mode at all.

In the iPhone, iPad and Android apps

The same, and a little simpler. The apps carry Simple Fielding with them and work without a connection. Your settings, saved plays and team names stay in the app's own storage on your device; delete the app and they go with it. The apps don't send anything anywhere: no accounts, no tracking or analytics, no crash reporting, no ads. Links to the website, the guides or "Buy me a coffee" open in your phone's browser, outside the app.
